SOCSO (PERKESO) is calculated using official wage tables, not a fixed percentage. For First Category (Employment Injury + Invalidity), rates range from RM0.10 to RM29.75 employee share based on wage bands. The wage ceiling is RM6,000/month from 1 October 2024.
