How to get started with PERKESO software

  1. Register your PERKESO employer account

    If you have not yet, register at PERKESO ASSIST Portal (assist.perkeso.gov.my). You will receive an employer code used in every monthly SOCSO and EIS submission.

  2. Add PERKESO details to HavaHR

    Enter your PERKESO employer code and employee SOCSO/EIS settings in HavaHR. Each payroll run records SOCSO and EIS on payslips and in a CSV export you can reconcile before uploading through PERKESO ASSIST.

  3. Classify employees for SOCSO and EIS

    Set each employee’s SOCSO category (Category 1: employment injury + invalidity, or Category 2: employment injury only — typically for over-60). Mark EIS eligibility (excluded for over-60 first-time entrants). HavaHR applies the right schedule per employee.

  4. Run payroll — SOCSO and EIS calculate automatically

    Salaries flow through PERKESO’s wage classes and contribution tables on every payroll. Both employer and employee shares are calculated, with the correct wage ceilings applied automatically.

  5. Submit SOCSO and EIS to PERKESO by the 15th

    Use your payroll CSV totals, then complete payment and submission in PERKESO ASSIST by the usual 15th-of-following-month deadline. Track that date on your own calendar—HavaHR does not send statutory deadline notifications today.
